Bedding House is proud to be the official partner of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. This unique collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum and Bedding House has resulted in a special collection of bed linen. Each design is inspired by one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings. Vincent painted one of his favorite scenes as a gift to his brother Theo: large flowering branches against a blue sky. He painted it for the birth of his godson, also named after him, Vincent Willem. He intended the work to hang above Theo and his wife's bed. As a symbol of youthful life, Vincent chose almond tree branches, one of the earliest flowering trees, which herald spring as early as February. Van Gogh's subject matter, sharp outlines, and placement of the tree within the painting were inspired by Japanese prints. With its romantic design and light blue and white color, the duvet cover will fit well into a romantic or classic bedroom.
