Technology

• Aircontact System – this suspension system makes it easier to carry hefty loads. The cushions are made from special large-pore foam, ensuring outstanding ventilation thanks to the pumping effect during movement. With the load close to your body, the weight is optimally distributed.
• 3D-Air-Mesh – polyester mesh that’s at least 3 mm thick, giving it a three-dimensional quality. Its breathability and cushioning effects make it ideal for outer layers of back cushions, shoulder straps, and hip belts. It’s durable and offers great comfort.
• 600D PES ripstop – a highly durable and wear-resistant fabric made of polyester. It comes in two versions: the tougher Super Polytex and the lighter 225D ripstop Polytex. Like all backpacks, it has a polyurethane (PU) coating for extra water resistance, but remember it doesn’t guarantee 100% waterproofing against heavy moisture, so definitely use the rain cover included with all Deuter backpacks.
• 420D PA – a lightweight nylon fabric with a close weave that's abrasion-resistant and has excellent dirt-repellent properties. It also benefits from PU treatment.
