Bedding House is proud to be the official partner of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. This unique collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum and Bedding House has resulted in a special collection of bed linen. Each design is inspired by one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings. This season, the inspiration for the products comes from Vincent's time in Eastern art. Japanese prints were one of Vincent's greatest sources of inspiration. The design is based on the painting "Plum Orchard in Blossom." Vincent had many Japanese prints in his collection; in letters, he spoke of "hundreds." He practiced the use of color and style of Japanese artists, creating paintings based on these prints. For his first piece, Vincent chose Utagawa Hiroshige's "Plum Tree Teahouse at Kameido." He literally copied the composition, but made the colors much stronger. He replaced the black and gray of the tree trunk with red and blue tones. He also added two orange decorative frames with Japanese characters for an exotic effect. In this design, the painting's flowering branches are beautifully highlighted and form a continuous pattern. The background is deep red, clearly showing Vincent's strong brushstrokes. The duvet cover has a solid red back.

The duvet cover features a different design on the front and back. Thanks to its high quality, it retains its beautiful shape and color even after washing.
