Bed Braces
In the past, when duvets were still covered with floral flannel, everything stayed in place quite well. However, today we prefer silky, soft, smooth, and comfortable fabrics. Then the down duvet sometimes takes on a life of its own and slips out from under the covers. This is especially annoying during sleep, as cold spots can wake you during the night. Even in the morning, when it's rush hour in every home, no one wants to have a wrestling match with a folded down duvet.

The solution to this eternal problem: bed braces. Attach a piece of suspender to the inside of the top corner of the cover and a piece of suspender to the duvet, and you're done. Two ties are enough to hold the duvet in place. A nice bonus: it also helps when changing the cover.
