Technology

• 600D PES ripstop – A super durable and abrasion-resistant polyester fabric. It comes in two versions: the stronger Super Polytex and a lighter 225D Ripstop Polytex. Like all backpacks, it features a polyurethane (PU) coating for added water resistance. However, keep in mind it doesn’t guarantee 100% protection against prolonged moisture exposure, as the seams and zippers are not sealed. It’s a good idea to use a rain cover, which, by the way, is included with all Deuter cycling backpacks.
• 420D PA – A lighter nylon fabric, tightly woven and smooth. Durable against wear and boasting excellent dirt-repellent properties. It also utilizes PU treatment.
