The compact, ergonomic ECL hip fins can be adjusted for stability and personalized fit to optimize load transfer. The unique padding conforms to your hips, offering stability and comfort. Plus, a cut-out along the back ensures ventilation and reduces pressure on your spine.

EXCELLENT VENTILATION FOR A DRY BACK

The Aircontact Lite back, designed with open-cell, hollow-chamber foam padding, offers great breathability and balances comfort and weight perfectly. It's perfect for efficient load transfer.

SL Women’s Fit

This backpack also comes in the SL version specifically designed for women: typically, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is thus slightly shorter than in the standard Deuter backpacks and tailored to the female shape. For additional details about our products.

That’s where our Aircontact principle shines: The carrying system rests directly on the user’s back, keeping the load near the body’s center of gravity. PFAS free

This Deuter product is free from intentionally used PFAS (per- & polyfluorinated substances). Deuter is committed to reducing harmful chemicals that impact the environment and health.

In outdoor gear, PFAS are primarily used for water-repellent finishes.

Instead, Deuter has been using an alternative DWR (Durable Water Repellency) treatment since 2019.
