This deuter product is free of intentionally added PFAS (per- & polyfluorinated chemicals). By doing so, deuter minimizes the use of substances harmful to the environment and health.

For outdoor products, PFAS are mainly utilized for water-repellent finishes.

Since 2019, deuter has adopted alternative durable water repellency (DWR) treatments instead.
