Lite System

Our light backpacks for endurance sports and alpine day tours are reduced to the bare minimum. They are ideal for carrying light to medium loads (depending on volume). Lightness doesn’t mean having to compromise on robustness!

Ultra-light to preserve energy

Its lightweight construction, lightweight materials, the deuter Lite back system and pared down features combine to make the Speed Lite a featherweight in the hiking category (26 L model just 732 g). That means you can put more energy into the trail and less into carrying the load.

ERGONOMIC BACK COMFORT

Wide, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps with full ventilation, supple hip fins and a precision-adjustable, lightly elasticated sternum strap create a snug fit with zero load wobble and distribute the weight evenly between the hips and shoulders. This minimizes strain on the shoulders and therefore also on the back.

A lightweight with carrying comfort due to:

  • light, soft back padding and ventilated 3D mesh cover

  • contact back and supple hip fins ensures a secure fit and good load transfer

100% recycled pre-consumer waste

Sustainable and resource-saving: our main material yarn is made from 100% recycled industrial waste and certified to recognised standards.

PFAS free

This deuter product is free of intentionally used PFAS (per- & polyfluorinated chemicals). deuter thus reduces the use of substances, that are known to harm the environment and health.

For Outdoor products PFAS are mainly used for water repellant treatments.

Instead, deuter uses since 2019 alternative DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation.
