The durable steel used allows for a blade thickness of just 2 mm. This is quality Swedish stainless steel, hardened using a special proprietary method. It retains its sharpness excellently and resists corrosion remarkably well.

The handle of the Mora Rope knife is quite robust, yet it's very comfortable to hold. It features a rubber-coated surface for enhanced grip, even when your hands are wet or gloved. Both the blade side and the outer edge have protrusions to prevent the knife from slipping in your hand. Considering the knife's design is geared towards field use, it comes with a sheath that can be easily attached to a belt. There's an additional attachment on the front of the sheath that's compatible with sheaths from other Mora knives. So, by connecting them, you can have two knives with different purposes on hand at once.
