Katadyn Pocket Ceramic Replacement Cartridge – This is a ceramic cartridge equipped with silver ions designed to purify water using portable filters from the Katadyn Pocket series. Water flows through pores measuring 0.2 microns in diameter and is filtered mechanically, without any chemicals involved.

Features

• Filters out 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.9% of protozoa, algae, sediment, spores, cysts, as well as viruses attached to particles larger than 0.2 microns. The silver ions in the ceramic matrix offer a bacteriostatic effect that prevents bacteria from multiplying inside the filter, ensuring the water stays fresh and safe.
• The cartridge can handle up to 50,000 liters depending on water quality. Heavy sediment and turbidity can clog the filter more quickly, shortening its lifespan. It should be used with water temperatures between 5–35°C.
• Super easy to clean in the field: just use an abrasive sponge on the outer surface of the cartridge. It can withstand up to 100 cleaning cycles. After each cleaning or every two months, the cartridge needs to be completely dried before reinstallation. For convenience, it’s recommended to get two interchangeable cartridges.
• This product is made and tested in Switzerland.
