The handle is constructed from G10 fiberglass, a composite material made from fiberglass and epoxy resin. During production, the fiberglass is soaked in resin and then compressed. The end result is a material that performs exceptionally well under tough conditions. G10 is strong, impact-resistant, and has excellent moisture tolerance along with vibrant, fade-resistant colors. It bears a resemblance to micarta but surpasses it in strength and fire resistance.
