The blade is crafted from 14C28N Sandvik — a fine-grained Swedish steel specifically designed for knife-making that boasts excellent corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high chromium content, this steel offers impressive protection against rust while achieving an ideal balance of hardness and toughness.

A blade made from this steel is well-edged and holds a sharpness that can be maintained easily. The hardness range for this steel is between 55 to 62 HRC. Knives made with 14C28N are tailored for intensive use in regular environments.

Because the production of this steel is quite high-cost, knives made from 14C28N are positioned in the mid-price range. It contains very few impurities, such as phosphorus and sulfur, ensuring that contact with food is entirely safe.

The handle is made from G10 fiberglass — a composite material made from glass fiber and epoxy resin. During production, the fiberglass is soaked in resin and then compressed. The result is a material that performs well under adverse conditions. G10 is strong and impact-resistant, offers excellent moisture tolerance, and features a durable color. It looks similar to micarta but outperforms it in terms of strength and flame resistance.
