It’s designed in a drop point shape, making it perfect for both slicing and piercing. Thanks to its plain edge, this knife delivers really clean cuts. The blade measures 8.5 cm in length and boasts a robust thickness of 3 mm for extra durability.

This knife is made from high-quality steel—Sandvik 12C27. This type of martensitic stainless steel is produced in Sweden and includes manganese and silicon in its composition. It contains 14% chromium and 0.6% carbon, achieving a hardness of 59 HRC. This means the blade maintains its sharpness well and requires minimal upkeep to stay in top shape. To open the knife, just use the small practical thumb stud on the blade. To close it, you simply slide the locking mechanism to the side, preventing it from folding under pressure; this mechanism is known as the liner lock.

In addition to the knife, the Ruike LD31 is equipped with several other handy tools. Scissors can be retrieved similarly to the knife, along with a flat screwdriver, a bottle opener, and a pair of wire strippers for various wire sizes. On the opposite side of the handle, you’ll find a wide awl with a hole for threading, along with additional wire stripping tools and a strap cutter—which also features a smaller flat screwdriver on its end. The knife’s handle top has a folding corkscrew, and there’s a glass-breaking tip at the end, plus a small ring for easy attachment to a chain. You can also clip the Ruike LD31 onto your belt using the included clip on one side of the handle.

The handle is constructed of a steel core covered with G10 grips. The texture on the grips is skidproof, providing an added layer of safety by preventing slippage while using the knife.
