Elan helmets are crafted from three main components: the outer shell made of high-quality plastic, which gives the helmet stability and spreads impact energy across a large surface area during falls. The inner lining is made of specially foamed polystyrene that absorbs impact energy and reduces it through deformation.

Strategically placed ventilation channels ensure optimal airflow and heat dispersion in any condition.

The soft material lining provides a comfy fit against your skin, wicking moisture away and drying quickly. For added comfort, the inner lining features antibacterial properties and is removable for easy washing.

Technology

• In-mold – the inner lining is made from EPS covered with a thin layer of polycarbonate, formed under high pressure. Hence the name In-Mold, short for “injection molded.” This construction is much lighter than alternatives and is perfect for most skiers who aren’t always chasing adrenaline.
