Elan Impulse is a ski and snowboard helmet manufactured in accordance with the latest technology and offers the best protection for the head from external damage. However, it cannot serve as a guarantee against damage.

Elam ski and snowboard helmets comply with the European standard EN 1077. All helmets are marked with the CE mark. Within the framework of this standard, all helmets are tested for deformation, permeability, durability of the fit on the head, and durability of the chin strap.

Elan helmets consist of three main components: the outer shell made of high-quality plastic gives the helmet stability and distributes the impact energy over the largest possible surface during a fall. The inner shell is made of specially foamed polystyrene. It dampens the energy generated by the impact and reduces it through deformation.

Ventilation channels located in strategically important areas maximize air flow and heat removal under all conditions.

The lining made of soft material ensures comfortable contact of the helmet with the skin. It is designed to remove moisture from its surface and dry as quickly as possible. For greater comfort in wearing the helmet, the lining has antibacterial properties. It is removable for washing.

Technologies

• In-mold — the inner EPS shell is covered with a thin layer of polycarbonate, molded under high pressure. Hence the name — In-Mold — an abbreviation for «injection molded». This design is much lighter than its counterparts and is suitable for most skiers who do not challenge fate in search of adrenaline.
