Elan Element 74 RS W LS EL 9.0 are high-quality and affordable skis, ideal for beginner skiers who value comfortable skiing all day long. The RS version has more wood in the core, due to which it has a slightly higher flex compared to the standard Element. The 74 mm waist width and Groove Tip construction provide excellent grip and facilitate turn initiation, minimizing the risk of accidentally catching the edges on uneven terrain. The combined core makes these skis less demanding in skiing technique, which makes it easier to master the basic skills.

Features

• Parabolic Rocker - this unique ski profile combines a fairly deep sidecut with Early Rise Rocker. The result is easy turn initiation with less effort. This construction is complemented by Front Side Stabilizer technology for vibration dampening, improved edge grip and greater control.
• The Dual Wood Core uses two symmetrical wooden stringers placed along the outer edges. The space between the stringers is filled with composite material. This design improves power transmission and edge grip, and, at the same time, the skis are very responsive in any conditions.
• Fiberglass reinforcement optimizes the distribution of flex of the skis and increases their torsional rigidity. Fiberglass fibers are located either on or under the core and improve its structural integrity.
• Light Shift is a "platform-in-platform" special construction that reveals all the capabilities of the skis effortlessly, and is extremely lightweight. This platform is manufactured using lightweight composite materials and vibration-damping inserts to provide smooth, highly efficient power transmission for precise control and responsiveness.
