The materials used in this carrying system are specifically matched to the SAS-TEC protector, ensuring the highest level of protection, equivalent to motorcycle standards. The protector features a special foam that springs back to its original shape after being compressed.

TÜV/GS certified protector backpacks

For a backpack to qualify as a protector, it must undergo rigorous testing. The Attack has been tested and certified by TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH (0123), meeting the 89/686 EWG directive for personal protective equipment. The residual force values for shock absorption comply with the European EN 1621-1 standard for back protectors.

PFAS free

This deuter product contains no intentionally used PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated substances). deuter minimizes the use of known harmful substances for both health and the environment.

For outdoor products, PFAS are typically used for water-repellent treatments.

Since 2019, deuter has opted for alternative DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation methods.
